The Rt Rev Edward Holland, AKC was an eminent Anglican Bishop in the last decades of the 20th Century and the very start of the 21st. He was born on 28 June 1936 [1] and educated at Dauntsey's School and King's College London. After ordination he was Curate at Holy Trinity, Dartford and then John Keble, Mill Hill.[2] Following this he was Precentor at Gibraltar Cathedral, a Chaplain in Naples and finally (before elevation to the Episcopate) Vicar of St Mark’s, Bromley. In 1986 he was appointed Anglican Suffragan Bishop in Europe [3] and nine years later was translated to a similar post at Colchester. In retirement he continues to serve the Church as an Assistant Bishop.[4]
